When does Connex Ecommerce create these orders?

Connex Ecommerce can create manufacturing orders, if there are not enough assemblies to sell. If you have an order for 10 items and there are only 2 in stock, then Connex will create a manufacturing order for 8 items. This process of creating orders on the fly is ideal, if you assemble items if and only if someone orders them first.

How do I enable this feature?

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to inventory settings and click advanced inventory.
  2. Check the build assembly box.
