Can I connect to multiple accounting systems under the same account?

This is possible with different accounts

In this example, a user wants to connect two QuickBooks Enterprise companies to a single Shopify. The user must create two Connex accounts. For each account, pair QuickBooks and Shopify. In the rules engine, you need to filter sales. We will use an order tag.

How do I set up multiple accounts?

Each Connex account pairs to a single company. You can contact Connex support, if you need a separate account. We will send you a separate user name and password for each account.

Pair Selling Channel and Accounting System

Associate each Connex user account with a company file.

Log into Connex. Click add selling channel on our dashboard. Pair the channel. On the next page, pair the accounting system. Go through the install wizard. Log out and perform the same steps for the other company.

Filter Orders

You need certain orders from Shopify to enter QuickBooks. In this example, orders have a tag of B2B or B2C. Orders with B2B sync with company file A. Orders with tag B2C sync with file B.

For the first file, exclude sales with the Shopify order tag B2B.

  1. In Connex, click rules engine.
  2. Click add new rule.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and select without order number.
  4. Click submit.
  5. In the title, enter Sync orders if no B2B tag.
  6. In the action field, enter Do not import to QuickBooks. This rule works with any accounting system and not just QuickBooks.
  7. Under conditions, enter order tag, contains B2B.
  8. Leave the last textbox blank.
  9. Click submit.
  10. Log out of Connex.

Login as the second account. Readd the same rule, but instead of the B2B enter B2C.
