How do I add the rule?

Here are the steps:

  1. Login to Connex.
  2. On the left, click rules.
  3. Click add.
  4. Choose map field, regardless of condition
  5. Click next.
  6. As the action, choose Map PO Number.
  7. Click Add Field to Check: PO Number Comparison: Map All Conjunction: OR and leave blank

How do I map a Shopify custom field to a date field in QuickBooks?

Ensure the field has a valid date

If the field ship_date exists without a value, then ship date will fail to sync to QuickBooks. If ship_date exists with an invalid date, like ABC123, then the sale would fail to sync.

How do I write the rule?

Here are the steps:

  1. Go to orders > order previewer.
  2. Choose Shopify and enter an order.
  3. Click custom fields and note the field name:
  4. Go to the rules engine.
  5. Click add.
  6. Enter QuickBooks ship date in the rule title.
  7. As the action, choose map order ship date.
  8. In the rule, enter these values: order custom field, 10 as the comparison, and ship_date as the field name.
  9. Leave the last field blank:
  10. Click submit to save the rule.
