How do I map multi-currency in QuickBooks Desktop

Introduction

In this example, the QuickBooks home currency is USD. An order from Amazon.ca has imported to QuickBooks.

Adjust Connex Settings

Here are the steps:

1. Login to Connex.
2. Go to settings.
3. Go to order setting > transaction type.
4. Check use multi-currency.

Turn on Multicurrency in QuickBooks Desktop

Here are the steps:

1. Go to the Edit menu, then select Preferences.
2. Select Multiple Currencies.
3. Go to the Company Preferences tab, then select Yes, I use more than one currency.
4. From the drop-down, select your home currency.

Create Customers in QuickBooks

If the customer is missing and if the order contains a currency code, then Connex will create the customer. For demo purposes, here is how it appears: 

1. Go to customer center.
2. Create a new customer.
3. Enter CAD as the code.
4. Enter Amazon.ca as the customer:

Add an exchange rate

Here are the steps:

1. Go to the Edit menu, then select currency.
2. Select CAD.
3. Enter an exchange rate:
