Checking or updating Connex with your QuickBooks Desktop company file path

When you switch or change your QuickBooks Desktop company file, you need to check Connex if it has the correct file path to ensure proper syncing. Not having the right path can lead to Web Connector and syncing errors.

Where can I quickly find my QuickBooks company file path?

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Desktop
  2. Open your Company file
  3. Press F2 on your keyboard (Ctrl +1 for Mac)
  4. The product information box would appear and look for the File Information

Where can I find the file path in my Connex settings?

  1. Log in to your Connex account
  2. Click Settings
  3. Click Order Settings
  4. Click Advanced
  5. Click Company File Settings
  6. Under Company file location should be the same file path you have inside your QuickBooks. If not, copy the path from QuickBooks and paste it here.
