You can't use negative rates on inventory items, use neg quantity instead

Problem

Your order sync fails.

Description

You have fees that are marked as inventory parts in QuickBooks. Connex is trying to assign a negative value, but inventory parts only accept positive quantities.

Solution

Change items to service

Here are the steps:

  1. This error usually happens with fee items. In QuickBooks, go to lists > item list.
  2. Find all the fee items and open the ones marked as inventory parts:
  3. In the item name field, add _OLD.
  4. In QuickBooks, create a new item.
  5. As the type, choose service.
  6. Enter the item name again.
  7. Resync your sale.
