Problem

You can't import products to QuickBooks Online.

Description

Your error log says:

Item CELEBRATION-BERMUDA-MIAMI has failed to export: Invalid account type: For an inventory product, the inventory asset account must have Account Type: Other Current Asset and Detail Type: Inventory.

Solution

Turn off create new products

Adjust chart of accounts

1. Go to settings.
2. Go to finance settings.
3. Under inventory account, choose inventory asset.
4. Under COGS, choose cost of goods sold.
5. Under sales, choose sales of product income.
